Mario is an Italian plumber who often rescues Princess Peach from Bowser, a large, powerful turtle with his brother, Luigi. Simply from this brief intro, we can tell Mario is beyond the mortal plain in terms of strength. Bowser is incredibly heavy and is shown to be able to punch smaller characters so hard they land multiple yards from him with even a moderate hit. Also, keep in mind, Mario defeats this beast quite often, showing great stamina and determination. Now, we must consider power-ups. Starting with a simple mushroom, Mario gains a moderate amount of strength, durability and body mass in the blink of an eye. Then, we have the fire flower, an edible flower Mario is able to consume to acquire the ability to shoot flames. Next, we have the star. This powerful item allows Mario to become untouchable and lets him kill anything that does dare approach him. However, this is temporary. There are many more power ups, but these are the most important. In Super Mario Brothers: U Deluxe, Mario is able to store up to 2 power ups in his item slots, acting as an inventory for him. This is integral due to something I call Star-Stacking. By storing 2 stars and acquiring a star mid-level, Mario has the power to use all three stars back to back and gain a lot of time in which he descends past all human limits. Not only that, but stars also increase speed. When star stacking, the effects of the star are prolonged and provide a 1 Up. 1 ups are quite rare, so this allows Mario to become quintuply immortal, as each star stack provides one 1 up. With these factors taken into consideration, Mario could easily take on gods and defeat them in seconds. Also, if you acquire a fire flower before stacking, you get a long range option while still having the star active, as other power ups remain during the star’s duration. However, even without the stars and fire flowers, Mario is still incredibly powerful. In the first Mario game, in a pre-mushroom state, he easily jumped over countless large and fast barrels thrown by a ginormous ape who was significantly stronger than him. And, in Super Mario World and both Mario Galaxy games, Mario can breathe in space without issue and breathe in water in ALL 2d games, making him a multi-terrain threat. Also, keep in mind, Mario can move at up to 45 mph in Super Mario Odyssey without glitches, cementing his great speed as an asset used in combat. Additionally, we must consider the force at witch he can land on top of enemies after jumping, being able to completely knock a shell off of a koopa, which shares DNA with turtles, whom shells are attached to there spine, hence why the koopas rush after their body immediately after its departure, hardly staying alive. Also think about how Mario can survive near anything as long as he is in a post-mushroom state, surviving even the molten substance from podaboos. And yes, Mario could beat Goku. Give Mario his stars and he can run at him at superhuman speeds and simply touch him, easily ending the fight.

I like how at the start, it looks like if it was coherent and had proper cohesion, but at the near end it suddenly mentions Goku

I mean, I had to answer the question. Otherwise, some crazy dude would ask.
